Our year-round farmer’s market gives farmers and artisans an opportunity to sell directly to the consumer every Thursday! We are located under the SoKY Marketplace Pavilion from mid-April to October. From November-April you can shop at the Cake Shop BG and Crop Shop! Parking is available in the pavilion lot behind SKyPAC or at the Stadium Park Plaza Parking Garage. See our vendor page for information about who sells at SoKY Marketplace!
The Historic Venue on 7th, formerly known as the Historic Taylor’s Chapel, is a newly-renovated event center and home to the SoKY Marketplace Community Kitchen, Winter Farmer’s Market, and Crop Shop. This beautiful brick church is steeped in history, and the character has been preserved so that anyone who visits can tell it is a special place.
The two-story event center can accommodate up to 180 guests. Upstairs on the main floor, natural light spills in from the near floor-to-ceiling windows. A commercial kitchen allows for hot meals to be provided in a fresh and efficient manner. As guests head downstairs, the original exposed brick walls and hanging globe lights provide the perfect rustic ambiance. Both spaces are perfect for charming wedding ceremonies and receptions, rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, or holiday gatherings.
The SoKY Marketplace is a central hub to many Downtown Bowling Green events! You can follow us on Facebook for updated events and how to participate.
The SoKY Ice Rink is located under the SoKY Marketplace Pavilion from mid-November through January.
